The Partners

The START-DS project is developed by 3 European universities and 3 European schools that bring together their psychological, pedagogical, technological and educational knowledge to promote a virtuous use of technology by the collaboration and co-creation of targeted actions and research-action activities.

How did we form our partnership?

In building the partnership, we put together the European excellence in the pedagogical and technological fields.

The need to provide young people with the skills to interpret reality and interact with it to create new social and economic value requires attention to the development of a new digital awareness that needs to be cultivated within educational contexts and training.

The University of Urbino (UNIURB) offer pedagogical and psychological expertise and research experience to develop social and emotional learning (SEL) that has a central role in the growth of young people.

From Poland, the UMCS University boasts high projects and achievements in the pedagogical field that allow to promote a deeper understanding of the dynamics that link adolescents to digital and the scholastic implications of the introduction of new technologies.

The Technological University Dublin, in turn, presents authoritative experience in the extension the specific technological and engineering knowledge to other fields of knowledge and intervention, promoting the development of innovative solutions.

The three high school  – reputable educational institutes in Macedonia, Bulgaria and Italy – represent reliable supporters in the needs analysis and sharing of the actions envisaged by the project.

Together we can share expertise to extend the management of digital transformations at the school in the new perspective of students’ and teachers’ well-being: all actions will combine pedagogical techniques with the motivated and proactive use of smartphones.
